You should definitely book during school holidays and summer weekends or if you need a specific style of bike like an electric bike. Also, booking online will save you time in store. We will refund you if you cancel 24 hrs before arrival.
Our online booking system is a quick and easy way to book your bike hire.
Take a look at our sizing chart to find the perfect bike fit for you.
Helmets, locks and maps are free, but we also sell gloves and rainwear. Please wear suitable clothing that you wouldn’t mind getting dirty or ripped (if going on one of the more adventurous routes).
It's quite helpful if you can but if not, try a tandem with a proficient rider in front for stability.
Yes, we have an ever-growing fleet of electric bikes but be sure you bring a photo ID, a valid credit card for payment and deposit. Also, please ensure riders for e-bikes are aged over 14.
We offer a wide range of bikes to suit every need. From off-road, step-thru, e-bikes, gravel, comfort, kids bikes and more. View our full offering on our booking system.
Our rental period is a cost effective flat fee, whether you rent for 2 hours or the whole day. Bikes must be returned by 5pm but we do offer multi-day discounts or an overnight surcharge. A short session discount is available after 2.00pm, but can't be booked.
Loss is the responsibility of the hirer so we strongly recommend you stay with the bikes and never leave them unattended. If you stop for lunch, ensure the bikes are locked within your sight as bikes have been stolen from racks at pubs and cafes.
Yes, there is parking in Brockenhurst Station. Parking fee applicable, off peak rates after 12 and at weekends.
Brockenhurst is on a mainline station from London with plenty of regular stopping trains. The usual train journey from London to Brockenhurst is around 90 mins.
We think so! Our New Forest centre is in the station car park on the south side of Brockenhurst Station, at the bottom of the ramp. A map is available on our contact page.
Technically, we deliver all over the country but for local rentals we prefer you come to us to ensure you get the correct size and style of bike. But we do deliver to some hotels so please call or email first - see our New Forest hire page for more details.
If you have paid online or over the phone, you don’t need to tell us you will be late. We are used to people getting stuck in traffic or missing trains. If you haven’t paid, then you should try and contact us as we will give out bikes from unpaid bookings when busy!
From Brockenhurst, you can access trails within 500 metres of our closest route and about 1-2 km of quiet lanes on other routes.
In the New Forest, all you will really see are trail post markers with numbers. But don’t worry, we offer maps and most of our routes are on the New Forest Hub guiding app or Komoot, both available on the App store or Google Play.
In the New Forest, it’s pretty much 100% guaranteed you will see ponies. Just make sure you look, don't touch and definitely don't share your lunch with them! You can normally see animals from our hire centre windows. You may also spot deer, donkeys and birds of prey. If you’re visiting in the autumn months, you may be lucky to see wild pigs during pannage season.

Some grazing animals are being introduced to the Purbeck area. You may spot ponies, deer, donkeys and birds of prey. Just make sure you look, don't touch and definitely don't share your lunch with them!
