The New Forest is one of the safest, flattest and most scenic National Parks to cycle in. We supply helmets for free and recommend you wear one for your own safety (helmets are sanitised after each use). Cycling route maps, repair kits and locks are also provided for free.

On the banks of the Beaulieu River, Buckler's Hard was once a thriving shipbuilding village where ships for Nelson's fleet at Trafalgar were built. Buckler's Hard is a perfect lunch stop.
Beaulieu is home to the National Motor Museum, Palace House and Gardens, Beaulieu Abbey and World of Top Gear.
Beaulieu Airfield was built in 1942 and was one of eleven Second World War airfields located in and around the New Forest.
Hatchet Pond is the New Forest’s largest body of fresh water and home to some of the rarest wetland plants and freshwater animals long since lost from many other parts of the UK.
Sweeten up your cycle with ice cream! The ice cream vans are usually at Blackwater, Whitefield Moor (Ornamental Woods, Lizard Loop routes) and Hatchet Pond (Beaulieu & Buckler’s Hard route).
The Turfcutters Arms is a great halfway point on our Beaulieu route and normally has space to sit and eat. There is a large beer garden and good honest pub food. It also has live music and a Beer & Cider festival in the summer.
