The trail version of the Maxxis Minion DHR II features the same tread pattern as its downhill counterpart, but utilises lighter weight casings. With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other. Refined and redesigned; ready to shred any line.

EXO+

Our EXO+ construction combines two of our best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO.

• The SilkShield layer runs from bead-to-bead.
• A layer of EXO along the sidewalls.

Combined, these two materials create EXO+, which improves:

• Tread puncture protection by 27%.
• Sidewall durability by 51%.
• Resistance to pinch flats by 28%.

Wide Trail (WT)

Wide Trail construction optimises the tyre's tread layout and profile on today's modern, wider rims.

• Traditional tyres designed for older, narrower rims can create an overly square tyre profile, leading to suboptimal performance.
• WT tyres are optimised for a 35mm inner rim width but work over a range from 30-35mm inner rim widths, depending on rider preference.

Tubeless Ready

Tubeless tyres provide the rider with many benefits:

• Ability to run lower air pressures, improving traction.
• Lower rolling resistance compared to tube-type tyres.
• Reduced chance of flats, as there is no tube.

Note: Liquid sealants should only be used in the following types of tyres: Tubeless Road, Tubular, and Tubeless Ready. The use of liquid sealants in any other Maxxis tyre will void the warranty.
